Get the Look: 5 Fall Celebrity Styles Get a Sustainable Makeover

Share

Staying stylish but shopping more sustainably? It can be hard to know where to start in recreating celebrity styles. We’ve got you covered.

For decades we have looked to the stars for style inspiration. And with the rise of social media, it has become easier than ever to keep tabs on what our favorite celebrities are doing and wearing.

As we head into fall, arguably some of the best of seasonal fashion offerings out there, we circle back to the trendsetters on the screen and on the streets before we do our shopping for the cooler weather. From Dua Lip’s baggy jeans to Lady Gaga’s mini bag, we are showcasing the best in celeb fall style but showing you how to do it sustainably.

1. Relaxed Vibes with Baggy Jeans

If you haven’t heard, skinny jeans are O-U-T, and according to celebs, baggy jeans wasted no time taking their place. Our girls Kylie Jenner and Dua Lipa have been sporting the look as of late and everyone is rushing to get their hands on some.

2. Simplify with a Teeny Tiny Bag

I’ll admit, I have always been a tote girl. It might be due to the fact that I am attached to my laptop and have been toting it around since my uni days. So, when itsy bitsy bags came roaring onto the scene I had no idea what to think. But there is something liberating in leaving your laptop, cosmetic case, and extra shoes at home. Credit card? Check. Phone? Check. Out the door you go!

3. Or Oversize Your Bag

If you just cannot get over these teeny bags, don’t worry, oversized bags are also all the rage. From Zendaya’s Hermès photo shoot with an iconic Kelly bag that my dog could fit into to Cardi B’s oversized Chanel bag—you can easily fit everything and the kitchen sink inside.

4. Tailoring Makes a Comeback

As some of us head back into the office we say a tearful goodbye to our beloved sweatpants and are falling back in love with tailored office wear—particularly a good boxy blazer. Take a note from fashion royalty Blake Lively and go all out with your back-to-the-office vibe. Or for a more relaxed rendition, throw it over some fitted athleisure for a laid look for brunch like Hailey Bieber.

5. Get Cozy with Chunky Knits

Is there anything better than a chunky knit sweater as the weather gets colder? While chunky knits never really went out of style, they are back in a BIG way this fall. From classic colors and styles, like Nicole Richie’s gorgeous white sweater to more bold colors and patterns, like our girl Taylor Swift’s which is adorned with flowers.
