By now, Reformation is well known for its one-of-a-kind midi and maxi dresses. The brand uses mostly deadstock fabrics that would otherwise end up in a landfill to create its small-batch collections. Aside from exceptional, sustainable materials Laude is also dedicated to providing living wages to artisans. When it began in 2014, the brand employed eight women, but have since grown to a community of more than 518 artisans. The brand prioritizes quality, healthy, and sustainability above all else.

6. Míe

All of Míe’s garments are made-to-order to cut down on inventory wastes. It focuses on resortwear made with natural and biodegradable fabrics that are breathable and elegant yet functional. All the pieces are ethically sewn in Lagos, Nigeria, where the company is based.

7. Whimsy & Row

Whimsy & Row crafts collections in small run batches to reduce over-production. Each piece is handcrafted ethically in Los Angeles. The company’s HQ is just miles away from its factory, allowing for the team to regularly visit to ensure fair wages and treatment for the staff. The company is also dedicated to using locally sourced, upcycled, and low-impact materials for their garments, and close attention to quality means each piece lasts years. 8. Casa Raki

Casa Raki is a South American-inspired brand that is designed in London and ethically made in Portugal. Its swimwear collection is crafted from recycled nylon or recycled polyester and its latest resort collection was made exclusively from 100 percent GOTS certified organic linen from Belgium.
